Parents Magazine

Anyone get Parents magazine.  I saw their article "Back to School Looks for Less" and had to laugh.  Less than what?  I saw $47 skirts, $40 shirts, $25 scarves....

There were a few things (like headbands) for under $20.  I can maybe see if those cltohes were for teenages, but no, they were shown on kindergartners.

ETA: I am always super-geeked about fall clothes shopping for the kids though.  Fall clothes are so much more fun than summer clothes for some reason.

Re: Parents Magazine

  • I hesitate to spend that much on my clothes, and I am done growing! my goodness.
  • I was just going to post this!  Back to school for less my butt!  80% of the things in that article were $30-$40 with the occasional old navy shirt or payless shoe.

I agree with pp, that's more than I like to spend on my own clothes.  I can imagine Parents will be hearing about this.

"You don't have to empty your pockets so your kid will be cool for class."  HA!  They must think my pockets are much deeper than they are.
