Well, it seems (almost) official!
Yesterday Jared was told by his manager that Amazon will be giving him a full time offer and he will be getting an email from HR in the next two weeks with all the paperwork. He has two semesters left of his Bachelors, so the job is for as soon as he graduates next May. I am so proud of him to get an opportunity like this!
That being said, it is bitter sweet news. As of next May, I will still have 2 semesters left of my Masters program, meaning I'll be in California while he heads up to Washington. Two semesters apart is not horrible, with technology and the fact we will be visiting each other. But it's just sad I'll have to go visit my husband to spend time with him.
In the end, 8 months is nothing when compared to a lifetime. Luckily I have a year to prepare for him leaving haha.
Be prepared for me to be on this board lots for the school year of 2013-2014!
