What is the best way to clean a down comforter? It is King sized and in serious need of a scrub- thanks to our dog who sleeps with us. Is there a way to wash it without all of the feathers bunching up?
Re: Down Comforter
I take it to nearest washateria, they wash it for me, charge $20, feathers aren't damaged. I've also heard of taking it to dry cleaners. Found this info online:

this. I've always brought mine to the washateria. Never tried the cleaners.
I always thought the washateria was a laundromat (all self serve). Many laundromats here have a sign saying washateria or something similar. Didn't know they could wash for you at an actual washateria.
Take the comfoter to the dry cleaner. They'll do it for you. In between cleaning you can use a sticky roller to lift up excess fur.
