Party Tent rental - any rec's?
My parents are looking to have a 40th anniversary party next year, possibly at their place, so we'd need to rent a big tent for a dance/band
anyone have any local MN rec's

We used Apres' for our wedding and had a great experience all-around with them.
That said - for what it'll cost you in not only renting the tent, but tables/chairs/porta potties/etc. consider checking into some community centers, KC/VFW/Lion's Club/etc. halls where all that stuff will be included.
We rented a 40'x80' 3 peak tent from Apres. We also rented chairs, tables, had them string italian lighting, a dance floor and other things. We were really happy with the process. When I used them in 2008, they had 10% off discount cards that they mailed you if you signed up for info on their website, no idea if they still do that or not.
It does cost more for an event, as PP mentioned, when you get a tent because you have to bring in everything, whereas a typical venue would typically provide chairs, tables etc. But I really loved our decision to have our wedding at home.
