Rehearsal Dinner options in Philly for 65 people?
(hi - haven't been here in forever!)
So my brother is getting married in the city in December. We're looking for a rehearsal dinner place for about 65 people. We are trying to avoid creating a "mini wedding" and want something fun and affordable.
Any ideas?

Maggiano's at 12th & Filbert. Everything is served family style.
Criniti's in South Philly at Broad and Oregon. Close to 76 and 95, and they have a second floor for private parties:

Popi's in South Philly at 20th & Penrose. Also close to the highways. My wedding shower for about 50 people was here:

Chickie's & Pete's also does private parties:

I had my rehearsal dinner at Plough & the Stars which seemed like a really weird place to have it, but we had the entire 2nd floor (which overlooks the ground floor) and it was pretty reasonable. They did personalized menus and everything. It was really chill. We had about 30 people, but I think their upstairs can accommodate 60 at least.
FORK
Davios
Bonner's (A pub where we had ours.)
The Irish Pub
DiBruno Brothers is an awesome idea!
Also, I've been to a rehearsal dinner at Maggiano's and it was really nice.
It was at the one by Reading Terminal.
hey. Not sure of your budget, but ours was minimal (like $1000 for everything, for about 60 people). I had to think outside the box. We had the rehearsal dinner at one of the Crescent Club Boathouse on Boathouse Row by the Art Museum. Basically all of our guests were from out of town, so we did a philly themed rehearsal. Having it at the boathouse (negotiated for saturday/night for a great price) allowed us to bring in our own food and alcohol. We brought in cheese/chicken cheese steaks, hoagies, soft pretzels, tastycakes, herrs, Chaddsford Wine, Kegs of Yuengling and Yuengling light.
It was amazing. Extremely spacious, amazing view with a beautiful outdoor deck on the water overlooking the city (even in October, the deck was great- beautifully lit too!). It was unique, everyone had an absolutely wonderful time and loved the food/drink. Let me know if you have any questions.
