Re: Meaningful Monday ~ 8/13
I may have had to work yesterday, but the brief is out and done today so I'm over it ;-)
Ben wiped out hardcore Saturday at a BBQ on a friend's terrace - he went face first into the metal bench. My heart stopped for a minute, but he has nothing more than a bruise - didn't his his jaw, no loose teeth, nothing. So fortunate.
I'm grateful for the bottle of xanax I had at home so I could take one when we got home Saturday night b/c Ben's wipeout caused me a mega anxiety attack.
I'm glad that Maddy is interested in the potty!
I'm super excited that I just had a creative moment (should be working, oops) and designed a card for my friend having a baby this week.

we are closing on our house this Thursday as well as closing on our new home!! fingers crossed things go smoothly.
Went to drop off Shannon at church for Vacation Bible School this morning, and Kyle wanted to stay too. So now, both of my kids are doing VBS this week, even though it's technically only supposed to be for 3yo+. The woman running it told me she had already put Kyle on the list months ago, anticipating that he'd want to participate too. They both did great today!
