Time is flying by! This is the 1st full week of school, we started last Wednesday. Tomorrow I am supposed to be getting obsereved by someone from the main office in Ohio. I have my lesson plans on my desk and my essential questions written on the board. I guess everything is as ready as it can be. I am just nervous because today my timing was ALL off. It took me 2 1/2 hours to teach the reading lesson when it was just a 2 hour block. I'll make it work somehow.
Re: Observation Tomorrow...
Married the love of my life on 1-21-12. Our princess arrived on 5-28-13.
Here's your history lesson for the day....
Helmuth von Moltke the Elder said "No plan of operations extends with certainty beyond the first encounter with the enemy's main strength"
In your case, you have a lesson plan. That plan is only good until you encounter your students. At that point, it needs to be able to adapt to their rate of learning.
Mark, you may not be a teacher, but somehow, you hit this nail right on the head.
Megan, I am sure you will do great. Just do what you do and you will be fine!
I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
On a slightly more serious note, I used to work in the schools for Norfolk City Public Schools. Just not as a teacher.
Ah.. that explains it!
You are so right with this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
