Hubby and I have decided to do a Rock the Dress shoot with our photographer - she recently hurt her back so the date has been pushed back which gives me plenty of time to plan
Tim and I are the farthest thing from stiff and serious. We have a hard time doing serious pictures so we really want this shoot to reflect our care-free, go-with-the-flow attitudes. We're doing the shoot at Lake Michigan where some of our wedding pictures were taken as well as on the road where we took some engagement photos. I thought it would be fun to revisit those spots again in a less serious way.
Now my question to you ladies is, should we bring along some props to help let the funny out. I fully intend on getting in the water so that will be tons of fun right there but what else could we do. I was thinking of bringing a football so we can play around and our dogs are definitely coming along for this shoot. Any other suggestions for some fun props that won't be too cheesy but still make for some great pictures??
Re: Rocking my dress (again)
Fun! I guess my style is always "less is more"...maybe something to do with water? Do you guys like to fish? Maybe you could bring some fishing poles? Maybe a fishing hat with some lures in it? Or maybe some pool floats...floating in lake michigan, maybe with some tropical drinks with umbrellas in them. Or swim masks/flippers if you have them.
Do you guys send out Christmas cards? What about bringing some Christmas stuff to take a photo to send out? Might be hard finding an electrical outlet, but I think it's be cute if you wrapped/tied your H up with a strand of lit Christmas lights, or have your photographer wrap you both up. Just an idea!
I really like these ideas! Especially the pool float and tropical drink!
I agree with anything that reflects you two as a couple! Hobbies, favorite/memorable places, etc.
This could be hysterical! I can totally see this! What about water guns or water balloons?
