Fall is coming! How do you wear your boots to work?
It's no secret I'm challenged in the fashion department, but with my recent weightloss I'm treating my self to some new fall clothes, including boots.
So other than with skinny jeans, how do I wear boots to work and not look like a wanna-be hooker?
Photos or links to sites would be exceptionally helpful.
Re: Boots
I will wear them with skirts or dresses, or with skinny cords or skinny black pants tucked into them. If you wear flat ones (riding boots, small wedges, cowboy boots) it's hard to look like a hooker
Also, brown boots in general I don't think look hoochy. The only ones that I can see worrying about would be tall black boots with a high heel, but even then there are lots of classic designs that are office appropriate.
I love fall shoes so much more than summer!
My first smart-assy thought was "on my feet".
I wear them with tights and either a skirt or a dress. I don't think I look like a hooker...
What types of skirts? And yes I was thinking flat riding boots :-)
There aren't too many skirts I don't like with my riding boots (short and full, pleated, pencil, etc.). I have some that are in heavier materials, but I'll also wear some of my spring/summer skirts or dresses with them, either with bare legs or with tights depending on how cold it is.
Check these out. I would probably add tights:

I have this dress in 2 colors and wear it with boots(black, tan or grey) and tights
If you switch out a skinny cord or a skinny dress pant for denim you elevate it to work appropriate, depending on your dress code.
