Need suggestions please!

Hi girls!

The worst bride ever award goes to: ME!!! I've decided that after over three years of being married, there is really no excuse for not having a single photograph of our wedding. Nope...not ONE. I'm making a commitment here. THIS weekend I will own a picture and put it in my house.

Do you have any suggestions on websites/services where I can make a wedding photobook? I don't know how to do this and I'm lost. I own all the copyrights and have the pictures on a cd.

Thanks!

  • I've heard mpix.com is great. I loved the prints I ordered from adorama.com, but I just ordered a 16x20 and some 8x10s to frame since our photographer did our actual album. Adorama also has some really cool aluminized and metallic prints, the metallic ones are my favorites that I framed, they shimmer when the light hits them and with a certain pic I have of us on the lakefront it makes the colors and background come alive so beautifully.

  • I've used both snapfish & shutterfly and been happy. It is super easy, I promise  Let me know if you need help!!
  • If it makes you feel better, I only have one collage frame with wedding pictures in it.  All of them are 4x6s.  Nothing bigger.  I have had the frames set on our bookcase for 3 years, but nothing in them.  I just don't think about it at all.

  • I used picaboo for our engagement pictures album. I still haven't done a wedding album!

We actually only have one wedding picture up in the house - it's one our photographer sent because she liked it and is us from the back so it doesn't even show our faces! ha

  • We also own all out digital photos and I made a book on Adorama that turned out soooo good. It was about $200 which I thought was quite cheap for a large book with the nice thick flat pages.

  • Shutterfly and snapfish are very easy to use. There are several options available depending on how much you want to design on your own.

I think picaboo is no longer around ?

Picaboo is totally still around. They email me daily.

  • I almost threw my laptop through the window this morning because I'm trying to learn photoshop in order to edit a few photos for our album.

My showdown is between Picaboo or Adorama.  Did you girls have good experiences with them?  Also, I am having trouble finding the albums that you design and print the photos on the page for Adorama.  Help?

  • We used Shutterfly for our wedding guest book, done with our e-pics.  I liked it just fine, but have never tried any other sites.
