Our age difference finally showed itself...
H and I were sitting on the couch the other night. I don't even remember what we were talking about, bug I was referencing old technology and said "yeah, like the Zack Morris phone".
His reply, "who's Zack Morris".
For reference, H is 8 years older than me.

H and I only have a 1 year age difference, but he was a very anti-social kid and they didn't have cable so he normally doesn't get these kinds of references from me either :P
You just made me feel really old.
I loved me some Saved By The Bell. My fav episode has to be when Jessie is 'hooked' on caffeine pills "I'm so excited, I'm so excited, I'm so scared!!"
People keep making me feel old this week though. I was at gym this week and the instructor ask talking about songs to put on for our work out. She suggested a Prince song ( 'Let's go Crazy', maybe?) and half the girls in the class had no idea what song it was. Those of us 30+ face-palmed.

H and I are the same age, just a few months apart, but due to having very different childhoods there are things the other is completely clueless on.

So have we been talking about one of the first cell phones and not a special phone? I know that phone but I wouldn't automatically associate it with him.
That happens to me and Vhati sometimes.....but our age difference is only about a year (just under a year actually). It mainly happens to us, because we grew up watching very different things.
Like he reference Samurai Pizza Cats once and I had NO IDEA what he was talking about. And once I said something about Beakman's World, and he was completely lost.
While I would be familiar with Zack Morris, I think I would have been lost too, because I never watched Saved by The Bell.
