Re: Bumbo Seat Recall

  • Thank you so much for posting! Gabe arches his back and nearly flips out of it all the time. I love the seat but was so frustrated by this. I'm so glad they have a repair kit.
  • Thanks for posting. My DD loves her Bumbo and also arches her back in it. The link to order the kit does not work, but will probably work later today.
  • Mason always stayed in this seat, but Garrett flipped out of it all the time.  Although, they were always on the floor, so I kind of don't get it - aren't most of the injuries from people placing the bumbos on an elevated spot, which the warnings say not to do?  Also, the seat seems light enough, so with the belt, wouldn't they still be able to flip and just take the seat with them?
  • mine isn't a true "bumbo" but another brand but had a seat belt that came with it & laced through the seat.  Is that what the fix is?  Mine also came with a tray so I always had that on to prevent falling out.  Either way neither kid liked it so it just sat most of the time!

     Thanks!

Adrian used his a lot, but usually on the floor. He has chubby legs, so he couldn't really get out of it. The repair kit is for a seat belt, which would be nice to have.
