Potty training at 15 months is really early, right??
Right?! A fb friend has been posting about her son's potty training achievements (I vow to never post about potty-related things, btw) and he's only 15.5 months old---way early right?
Re: Potty training at 15 months is really early, right??
I think it's too early. We waited until Maddi was telling us that she needed to go or not. I don't think 15 month olds know how to communicate that.
B is 19 months and getting very close to being ready, I am NOT ready. I am not putting in effort into it until November or so since we have some major changes coming in the next couple of months. She will bring a diaper to me if I am not right there when she goes because she wants to be changed immediately. When she goes she stops, squats and then watches her diaper until she is donebefore saying uh oh.
A 15 month old can't hardly get on a potty chair by themselves, can they?
There were some moms at JJ's daycare that were potty training right after the kids turned a year. That was freaking nuts.
I didn't even thinking about trying to potty train until JJ was closer to 2, and even at that point, we had to stop and start again because he wasn't ready. I don't get what the rush is, either.
