Master BR- does the bed have to be on the opposite wall from the door?
we moved in our house 4 years ago and bought our furniture then. I still like our furniture bc I wanted a masculine strong set with straight lines so new furniture is not really an option. I finally realized the problem is that the furniture is a bit too big for the room. However, not really sure if there's a better layout. Would it be weird to have the bed on a different one that the opposite from the door? Ive been on the knot and nest for 8 years ad still don't know how to add pics

Okay here's some pictures through shutterfly - thinking of losing the night stands? We cant really utilize the drawers in the bed since the night stands are in the way. Everything always looks kind of thrown into the room with no real flow. Input is appreciated!

There are no rules about what wall your bed should be on. There might be suggestions, but you can put your bed on any wall you want.
ETA: I just looked at your pictures. I would not want to block the window with the bed considering there are other walls you can put the bed on. I would move it for sure.
9 years in the trade and I've never heard of this rule, and am having a hard timing even recalling a project where this happened.
Honestly, I think it's stranger that you have your bed in front of your window. The wall that the dresser is currently on, how long is it? is it big enough to put your bed there with night stands on both side and still easily walk around? That seems like the best bed wall to me from your pictures
