I responded to your post below about flying with babies!

You'll be fine...esp. if you have other family members to help! I always work myself up and stress out about flights, and they're never as bad as I think they're going to be (not like I fly all the time, but we've done 4 trans-atlantic flights with Oliver so far). Have a great trip!!!

  • Thanks!  I realized you were already gone after I had posted the question.

So on USAir flights, I think I read that the bassinets are in the center section (row of 4 seats).  I'm just concerned about bothering the other people and potentially flashing a boob.  And I called the airline and they said the weight limit is 20lbs and 28" is the max length, so yeah, I could put it on the floor as long as he's not too long.  I don't know -  I keep waffling back and forth.

And in answer to your post, we are going 9/7 - 9/19.  Can't wait!

  • Don't worry about the other people...if they're in bulkhead most likely they'll have a baby too, or be surrounded by other babies. As long as you cover-up when nursing you should be fine! Are your relatives sitting near you too, or will you sit on your own in the middle row?

Oh, I have a cover - Jack just likes to rip it off so he can see what's going on around him!

As for seats, my parents are in the two seats in front of us and my inlaws are in the two seats behind us. My parents are booked on our ticket but I don't think it's required that we sit together, though, it would be nice if they were around us.  We are a few rows back from the second bulkhead.

I guess we'll see when we get to the airport how it will all pan out!
