Children's table - need touch up..any advice..

ok I have never done any touching up, painting, renovating etc...challenged in that area :-/

But I would like to start.

saw a black table and two chairs on craigslist - childrens table - $5, lady said it would need paint touch up. I will be picking it up tommorrow pm.

any suggestions on what color? what to do? thanks! :)

 DD nursery decor colors are yellow,brown and pink

  • I'm actually getting ready to redo my old table for my son so I've been looking for ideas. What about painting the top with chalk board paint? I'm going to sand mine down and paint it to look distressed with the chalkboard top. You can google tons of ideas. 
  • Chalkboard paint (available in a lot of of colors) would be nice. Depending on the size of the table, you could paint a little bird's-eye-view landscape on the table top for your kids to use as a train/car table. Another idea would be to paint the chairs pink and the table yellow or vice versa.
