Weekend Plans?
So what's everyone up to this weekend?
I think tonight H & I are going to hang in. Then tomorrow we scored free tickets to a new musical at a local theatre and we'll probably grab lunch before or dinner after. Sunday I'll probably go grocery shopping, do housework and all that other boring adult stuff since H is working.

Today is a work around the house kind of day. Hubby works til 2:00 then we have some projects to finish up around here so I've just been cleaning in the meantime.
Tomorrow we are going hiking along Lake Michigan. There are so many amazing hiking trails around us that we are finally just going exploring. We'll see where we end up and it'll be a fun day with hubby and the dogs!
Sunday is our lazy day. We typically don't do a whole lot on Sundays, sometimes it's just nice to lay around with H
Happy Weekend Ladies!
Tonight we are having friends over for dinner (can't wait for the WFD post, it's a good one! lol), tomorrow morning we'll do our usual house/yard work morning together, then BIL's birthday supper in the evening. Sunday we're going to my cousin's wedding.
Busy busy!
We don't have any set plans yet. I think we're planning on taking our dog for a walk tomorrow on campus before all the undergrads get back and it gets super busy. But we haven't worked out all the details yet.
We also need to go to the grocery store and clean the house. But other than that--looking forward to just chilling out.
Nothing spectacular.
I have to work tomorrow, so we will probably go out to dinner and maybe see a movie.
Sunday we are going to H's uncle's 90th birthday party. I will admit, I don't want to go. I would rather go off on a day trip since we haven't really gone anywhere this summer (besides getting married and then the HM) and we usually take day trips. Anyway. It's his 90th, so we will go becuase there probably won't be too many birthdays left for him.
Monday off, so I haven't decided what to do yet. Mayeb start reading my Chem or Bio text books.
Tonight I think we're just hanging out.
Hubby is FINALLY not working this weekend (he's worked pretty much every weekend he's been able to since the wedding) so I planned a getaway for us for saturday night. We're dropping the dog off with FIL and MIL and driving about 1.5 away to another town where there's a really nice mineral spa and hotel. I asked H if he'd be up for a date with his wife, and he'd need most of saturday free. (I didn't mention over night) so he said yes and asked what I told him it's a surprise so he's intrigued. I"m oging to tell him we're going to a movie (which we are, gonna see the new bourne movie) but we're going to drive to the other town first
he'll be confused.. and then after the movie i'll take him to the hotel. I'm excited. We've had some late wedding $$ trickle in and so i'm going to use it for that.. I know H will be okay with it. So Saturday will be... drive, movie, supper, soaking at the spa at the hotel, and hangin out.
Sunday we'll go for breaky maybe hit up a museum and head home and maybe get some work done around/on the hosue too
I can't wait for tomorrow!!
Tomorrow, I have a hair appointment, and then I get to my my friends week-old baby!
I'm trying to think of something fun and outdoorsy for us to do with the pup on Sunday, assuming the weather is nice!

Sunday I am running a marathon (wish me all the luck you can please!) and I have to get up at 3am. Something just so wrong with this entire picture, especially for a Sunday, but mom and I have done this for 5 years now. Then off to some well deserved breakfast (yummy waffles that I never get because they are do fattening, but on this day after the crazy marathon -- pass the syrup please!) and then off to get some needed sleep and rest. zzzzzzz

We went to H's 10 year highschool reunion yesterday...it was...interesting. I think with FB and people who want to stay in touch already knowing everything about everyone, the reuinion thing isnt as exciting as only about 20 people out of a grad class of 200 showed up. It was fun to hang out with H's best man and his wife though as we don't see them much and they were there.
Today we are going to a wedding of the mutual friend's who set us up originally...who are still good friends with a girl who really stabbed me in the back and has been causing drama ever since, we have pretty much had no contact with them in over a year, but H really wanted to go (PS this is the wedding that I mentioned before that they were fundraising for thier wedding.....should be interesting! - I'll let you all know how it goes!)
