Free-for-all Friday & weekend plans
Post about anything (or everything) here!
Any big weekend plans?
Re: Free-for-all Friday & weekend plans
I thought that we'd be getting our kitten this weekend, but that's delayed at least another week. So, tomorrow is free, except for housework and laundry.
My sister is joining us for mass in the morning, in case my 2yo doesn't want to stay with the VBS kids. Lunch as a family, then another quiet day. We might go swimming either Saturday or Sunday, just to get out of the house.
Ancestry.com is making me crazy. (about to post separately about this)
Ice cream for dinner is totally legit, right?
Trying to make some progress on DS's big boy room this weekend, and we have firewood that needs stacking, but that will be DH's job since my back is kiiiiilling me. Hoping to go outlet shopping with a friend and her DD tomorrow! I could use a little girl time. It would also be good to get DS out of the house so DH can work on some projects uninterrupted.
Weekend plans:
Wrap up work at 4pm so I can spend a frantic hour cleaning my downstairs before my parents come tonight. Right now their room is buried in everything from my office reorg. no bueno. Get kids. Come home, do frantic cleaning of upstairs while we play. Then, consume large quantities of alcohol and risk passing out before parents arrive (ok maybe I'm exaggerating, but wine will be involved).
Tomorrow: DAY OFF. Finally. Parents here, if weather is nice we're off to Bear Mountain, if not, we'll do arts/crafts fun games at home while my mom helps me sort hand me downs in preparation for our trip and to give to others.
Sunday: work. ALL day. Writing all morning, then editing all afternoon once boss reads it.
