Random (and silly, I know) question. Based on these answers I'll explain more, haha.
Would you golf when pregnant? (No, I'm not pregnant) Like in very early pregnancy. And the option of just putting / taking it easy isn't an option. And not a regular golfer.
Thanks!

Re: my first question..
I don't think golf is so physically taxing that I would avoid it while pregnant. Unless they require you to sprint to each hole or something. The only thing they tell you is to not exceed a heart rate of 140, unless you are very active and your body is already used to it.

My SIL golfed in May and she was 4 months pregnant. It was the last time she golfed, though.
If someone always golfs, I don't think it would be a big deal to continue golfing until it becomes difficult, uncomfortable or painful.
Eagerly awaiting the "why" behind the question. LoL
I would golf until my belly got in the way. From what I've been told any physical activity that you are used to doing before prego, you and still do after.
FWIW, I take barre, pole, & aerial classes and I plan on keeping up with them as long as possible after DH knocks me up. (there are girls 5/6 months prego in my flex & barre classes, the instructors modify moves for them) It's actually supposed to be really good for you to maintain physical activity during pregnancy.
I also work at a dinner theater and many of the girls (who have been working there from a long time), have been able to keep up carrying the heavy trays up until their 8th month,
It's all b/c their bodies are used to the activity. My PT has told me that if yor body is already used to it, than it's not a problem to continue during pregnancy. But if you didn't do those kind of workouts, you shouldn't start when you get prego

Here's my reasoning for asking.
We are in our 6th month of trying to get pregnant. We have this month & next month for it to work before my company golf outing.
I don't want to go on the golf outing. My best friend at work left last month to return to teaching, and it's just not the same. However, I'm the bosses assistant, and he's the one that organizes it so I can't just make up any excuse not to go, becuase he would offer to change the date or something.
I was hoping that it would be an easy out - if it was an acceptable excuse to miss - haha. That way I could just tell him, but not the rest of the office. But I wanted to first get an idea of how crazy the 'not golfing while pregnant' idea was.
Plus, he has 17 people going, and he mentioned he hope someone drops out so we could have 4 teams of 4.
Obviously - there's one major factor in my plan. I need to get pregnant! Ha. Really hoping it happens soon though...

Why don't you offer to not go and say something like, "Hey... I know it's easier to have 4 teams of 4, why don't I sit this one out?"
... or... fake an elbow/arm/back injury?
Do you really think he would reschedule an outing with 16 other people because you can't make it? Because my other thought is, if it's on a Saturday or Sunday, you can maybe say you have a shower or wedding.
