Monday...
Some weekends just feel like they go by way too fast. I had to double check what day it was when my alarm went off this morning.
Then I started thinking about how many more days until I could sleep in again (read: not set my alarm clock, because I'll wake up by 7am anyway) and realized it was probably not until September...ehhh

Do you have any newbie friends you can bring over here? I really wish this place would liven up again. I'm going to be home a lot more now and need some entertainment!
My weekend was good. We got our nursery painted. And DH ran his first 5K. I got up early and waited at the finish line for him. But he was so fast that I actually missed him with my camera all ready and everything!

I had a long and emotionally taxing day today. So now, I'm enjoying pizza, and macaroni and cheese, and red wine. Dark chocolate will be making an appearance shortly.

hey girls! i'm sure you've all gone to bed by now...i'm gonna try and be around more during the day, at least when i'm not out trying my hardest to (and thus far being totally unsuccessful at) sell space at a home & garden show.
i went out golfing with DH today (he took the day off)....i actually don't totally suck anymore. it's miraculous.
aaaaaand i finished my friend's baby blanket. just in time to start crocheting another one for another friend. aaaand make some scarves to sell.

Hmm..I can think of one, but she probably can't get on much during the day, if at all, with her new job... I'll let her know you all said she had to come over here.

Congrats to your H! That has to be really exciting! Kind of makes me think of -Have you seen that Subaru commercial where the woman is doing a race and the guy keeps holding up signs? Then at the end, he is sitting there with the box of pizza?

I haven't seen that commercial ha. DH keeps getting skinnier and I just keep gaining weight. I told him it's rough on the self esteem. But it's partly my own fault. I've gotten into the bad habit of nightly bowls of full fat ice cream and more frappucinos than I'd care to admit this summer.
I didn't quit my job but I'm strictly working from home for the moment instead of running around doing demos and conferences which cut down my hours and paycheck
