Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

I'm thinking of starting one (just for fun - not for income) and was wondering if any of you have one...

- what is your blog about?
- how did you set it up?

We had a similar post a while back. I'm pretty sure toothpastechica is the only one who has an active blog here :-/
I had said that I used to have one that I started for school, but once the class was over I let it go. Mine was free through weebly and the url is jamaelsshorts.weebly.com if you want to check it out. I haven't done anything with it in a while though!
I have one--through blogspot. It's about crafts/organizing, wedding things I created/did that were DIY and mostly food.
Blogspot is so easy to work with.I highly recommend it.

I dont have a blog, so I'm no help
But there are a couple that I like to read. And I think I might start one when we are TTC just to have something to look back on and maybe let my family know about it so they can keep up with our journey? Would that be weird??! LOL Maybe not give out too many details about the TTC part but more about when we DO get pregnant and keeping a blog then so family can be part of the experience...
I actually think I will definitely start some kind of blog when we do have a little one so family and friends who are so far away will be able to see pics and read all the new things that happen everyday!

I have one. I use it for fun and sanity.
It was mainly a wedding website but I am slowly converting it.
Mine is about my life and trying to organize it with school, a husband and a toddler. I do a lot of DIY stuff and some basic tutorials
I use weebly because I thought the layouts were easy and just prettier.
I have no real tips because I have no clue what I am doing. I just write about what interests me or what happens to me.

My Blog
Mine is mostly pictures, I actually stared it a LONG time ago because I was doing lots of oversees volunteer work, but it was mostly through church groups, and while I am still very much involved with christian organization, going into the secular field of social work, it came off kind of "churchy" so I took everything old down and kinda restarted about when we got engaged and its mostly just daily life/pictures of our random outings /links to other blogs/organizations and adoption resources I support.
