So just a little background, me and my bf have been together for 2 1/2 years and are fully committed. We are expecting a baby boy in October(: We are both super happy and excited! My bf is a very private person, only 5 friends and family members new about our pregnancy till about two weeks ago. He is also those nice guys that is friends with EVERYONE, i love this about him but it is the total opposite of me. I never worry about cheating at all, im 100% confident! But some ladies take his niceness as flirty and tend to go alittle far, he always tells me when this happens and he just ends the conversation with them. Not a big deal to me. He just told one of his coworkers(one of the flirty ladies) who is about ten years older than him that he will be a dad. She replied with i hope you are happy. Then sent a message saying "i feel sorry for you". Im not generally an outright nice person, if i dont know you im not going out of my way to be nice. Not rude, just not smiles and hugs. So she is convinced im a b*tch and dont like her. When he asked why, she said "well now your together forever and will have a kid". Ummm, Im sorry but we dont need you to be sorry for us! We are happy together and cant wait for this baby. This kinda pissed me off! And of course my bf was like "oh well i just wont reply" I would like to know what means and why she feels she had the right to say anything like that.
Overreacting or would this irritate you to?!
Again, im pregnant so maybe im just hormonal?!
Re: Should this be no big deal?
Yes that is rude. It isn't just your hormones!
Some people just do not have a filter.
(I feel you on the shy thing. I have come off bitchy tons of times.)
We are young, Im 19 and he is 21.
Okay, then that makes sense. It wasn't an attack toward you, merely an acknowledgement that the two of you are needlessly limiting your futures, and that there's a pretty big chance that you'll end up with some major regrets.
She still shouldn't have said that out loud, though.
