Parent's wedding anniversary
My parent's 30th wedding anniversary is in October and I'm trying to think of a nice gift for them. The things that I'd like to do for them, like make a scrapbook or throw a party, can't really be done since they live in a different state. We gifted them stay at a cabin at Amicolola Falls in GA for the wedding so that idea is out too. I'm at a loss for what to do for them. Since its their 30th I want to do something a little more than just a card. Any ideas?
Re: Parent's wedding anniversary
I know you said that a scrapbook is out of the question because you don't live near them, but are there relatives that live near your parents that would be willing to help out?
My parents just celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary and my sister and I made scrapbook on Mixbook using digital photos we had on our computers and we were able to raid my parents photographs of us when were were little to scan onto our computers. The book began with pictures of my parents in high school including their prom, graduation, them in college, their wedding and pictures of our family growing...
Or what if you sent them away for a weekend, but left the destination a surprise and planned little surprises along the way or at the hotel for them to find upon their arrival, or plan activities for them to do with little notes...?
I like the last idea of sending them away for the weekend and keeping the destination a secret. That would be totally fun.
What about a spa package for a couple? H and I did that once and we really enjoyed it.
We are taking my mom and stepdad to gettysburg for their 10th annv begining of October
DH soooo excited to be their tour guide..and Im just so excited to get a weekend away with them
I opt for another weekend away if they could do it...
