Teen Mom 8/21 Spoilers
Wow...What is up with Ryan's girlfriend Dalis. She seemed to dye her hair a hideous black color..Yikes. She is so nosey and when Maci and Ryan were talking about why Ryan did not come to Bentley's party, she was listening in. Maci wanted to close the door so Bentley would not hear it. Then Maci said she was not going to talk to Ryan anymore and Dalis said, "Good"...She seems very jealous and insecure of herself, etc. I don't know what business of hers is that of Ryan and Maci. She needs to keep her nose out of it!!
I feel bad for Farrah that she is leaving Sophia for a month. I am hoping she will fly in to see her daughter. I know her mom is happy to be taking care of Sophia. I wonder if Sophia is going to stay with Farrah's mom on a more permanent basis?
It is good that Catelynn and Tyler's moms want to be involved with Carly's life. Hopefully this will give them some piece of mind. I know it was a difficult decision a few years ago but hopefully they too can be a part of Carly's life, etc.
Amber is still a mess..Yikes. She has so many issues and seems to not want to deal with them. I am hoping prison will help her with her issues. She really wants to be a good mom to Leah but she has to get her crap together and learn to deal with her anger, etc. She and Gary just need to be there for Leah!!
I am really going to miss this show. Hopefully after next week's last episode, they will have an update with Dr. Drew!!

The Maci/Ryan situation really burned me up! First it was completely immature and manipulative of Maci to put Bentley on the phone to invite everyone to the party. I'm sure they were all put on the spot because who wants to say no to an adorable 3 year old. BUT once they all told said 3 year old that they would be there, then they all should have had their a$$'s there. I thought Ryan's parents were a little better than that. Dalis is ridiculous and so is her hair.
I liked seeing Farrah be all cute and happy with Sophia, that was a nice change of pace especially after last week's disaster.
I don't think it's really Tyler's mom's place to be upset or to expect any type of contact with Carly. I'd be weirded out if I were Brandon and Theresa.
Amber is a hot mess as always.
I'm going to miss them so much!
I was surprised Ryan's parents didn't go to the party. Like OP said, I thought they were better than that. Ryan should have at least went for the 2nd half before heading back to his house.
Farrah was actually semi watchable this week. She needs to forget about having a bf, and focus on school and her child. Out of the 4 girls, she is actually going to school and trying to make something of her life.
It would never cross my mind to have a relationship with the biological grandparents. I'm sure its hard enough to keep in touch with the biological parents. I think that was a bit weird.
Amber will always be Amber.
I totally agree. Farrah acted really nice this episode, it was different. Amber is just annoying to watch now.

I wanted to be a fly on the wall at Ryan's house last night when his dad was watching the episode and seeing how Ryan was talking to Maci at pick up! I'll bet he laid into Ryan!
I cannot stand Dalis. She is so immature and she is a sh!tstarter, IMO. First that business with Twitter and now that nosying in the middle of their fight and saying "good" when Maci said she was not talking to Ryan anymore while he was using that foul, disrespectful language.
Maci looks emaciated to me.
I don't blame Brandon and Theresa at all for only wishing to limit contact to Cate and Ty. Honestly? It's not anyone's place to be in contact with Carly. Carly is Brandon and Theresa's daughter by way of Cate and Tyler. Draw the line, people.
Maci's mistakes as a parent I believe are because she's so young and doesn't know better. But it made me sad for Bentley that Ryan and his parents didn't show up. I know Ryan may have had other things pending but his parents said they'd be there ... why didn't they show up?
Amber ... man, as messed up as she is I felt awful for her when Leah said, "I need you" and she couldn't stay. It'd break my heart if my son said that to me and I had to walk away.
I'm glad April is coming around and that she's getting clean. She's much better than Butch ... and I'm so surprised that Tyler came out "normal." but I guess he has his mother to thank for that!

Maci: I might be one of the only ones to think this but I felt like she was just trying to make Bentley's birthday party as nice as she could for him and show that she was adult enough to invite everyone to it. I guess she should have asked Ryan and his parents herself but it would have been nice if they would have came. Luckily, Bentley didn't even notice. Catelynn & Tyler: I never really thought about the relationship that the grandparents would want with the baby either. I think that the line needs to be drawn at then and Carly needs to decide when she's older if she wants to meet her grandparents. She's still a baby and I feel like that would be confusing.
Farrah: I think it's funny how clingy and crazy she was with her boyfriend and then she's all surprised when he freaks out and leaves her. They were dating for 1 1/2 months and she was talking about marriage...that's crazy! Especially how young they are! I did like to see her spend some time with Sophia and I think it was mature of her to let Sophia stay with her mom for a month so she can focus on her studies. She's lucky she has that kind of support.
Amber: She's a mess! It doesn't even seem like rehab and counseling work for her because she's so set in her ways. I feel bad for Leah that she has to have that kind of influence around her. Amber and Gary need to stop trying to make it work,too. All they do is fight and they're so unhealthy it's unreal. They know how to push each other's buttons and they're good at it.
