Hi ladies, I have lurked a bit and I am hoping you don't mind if I join in on the group.  Some info about me:  I have been married for almost a year and we are expecting our first in March. I love sports and I am trying to become better at cooking.

    Welcome all the same. Congrat's on expecting!! I'm to be married March 2013 (make it for March 21st and we'll be besties for ever...hehe...I keed I keed) myself but joined The Nest since I've been living with my FI for some time.

    I used to post on BOTB before we started trying and sometimes on ML. I post on March 2013 moms mostly now. I should clarify that I have been lurking your board a bit. Stick out tongue

    Congrats on your upcoming wedding!! how goes the plans? Do you have your wedding dress already?  I loved every minute of the planning. I would do it all over again in a second (same dh of course!).

     Ahhh...Ok. haha. I've been a little busy on the Knot but started up here just recently myself.

     Thank's a bunch. It's going. We're doing a destination wedding in Mexico. FI and I adore Mexico so it was natural for us to want to get married there. Everything is coming along. I actually just ordered my dress yesterday! I never thought I would get a flowy princessy (but not too princessy) dress, but I fell in love with it. It should be arriving at the end of September. It's so fun, but I'm having bridal meltdown moments. I try to contain it though, cause I don't want to be a Bridezilla. lol

    That is sooo exciting about your dress!!!!  Ya, bridal meltdowns are no fun. I only had one near the end and that was becuase of a bridesmaid I had.  Not a story I am going to get into, but a friendship I am greatful to be over.  A selfish spoiled brat who changed from the girl I met.  It happens.  Destination wedding sounds like a lot of fun. I really want one of my friends to do one! lol.  I sort of am getting a destination wedding next month......a couple provinces away....not down south, but a roadtrip nonetheless lol.   ya, i used the knot when I was planning. I enjoyed it for the most part.  Sometimes the views are too black and white and forceful, but you jsut need to take those with a grain of salt. :)

     Oh ya...now I have to loose the weight to get into it. Well I ordered it in my current size but I'm hoping I can bring it in alot by the time I need to get sized. I just really have to push my butt to the gym.
     
    lol...I almost broke down and cried right at my desk yesterday (thank god I work alone). I'm having a rough week and a bridal moment was right at the edge.
    Yikes...sorry you had to go through that. You're probably better off though. People like that you don't need in your life. 
     
    Haha....same thing right? As long as it's not in your home town...it is a destination in the end! HA! Stick out tongue
     
    You're right. I sometimes can sound harsh but sometimes people ask rediculous questions and I wonder why they don't know the obvious answer! There are other times when I feel for the person (especially when I can relate). I'm very opinionated...haha. So, let's just say I don't have a problem sharing my opinion!
