I posted this on FB but no replies. Our washing machine broke last night so we need to get a new one. I'm thinking front-loader and we'll go ahead and replace the dryer too since that is likely to die soon also. And recommendations?? I've checked Consumer Reports but any personal recs would be much appreciated!!

Re: Washer/dryer recs?
We had a kenmore T3 front loader which I loved but didn't love the issues with the front gasket thing getting moldy . U basically had to leave the door open after each load . We now have a may tag top loader that is HE and has all the benefits of a front loader can take king size stuff and I can fit 2 kids worth of clothes:). It was pricey but works great! Other than that I would make sure it has a quick wash feature I didn't like on my previous front loader I couldn't do a smaller load.
Enjoy!
We got a top loader because I hated the front load-it got moldy and required a lot of upkeep and I just don't have time for that.
