I just saw the commercial for the movie version of Marley and Me.  I really enjoyed the book even though I bawled my eyes out.  I'm getting teary eyed thinking about it now.  I may try to talk DH into seeing it, but I know I'll cry if I go see it.  I cried like a baby watching 8 Below.

    I really want to read the book first and then see it. I too will be all tears, as it doesn't take much, but I'm looking forward to seeing it.

    OMG i just saw the commercial too.  I was waiting for my roommate to say he had to get a dog.  he is already talking about how much he is going to miss our three when we move out.

    I cried during 8 Below too, so sad.

    I want to read the book first, but the movie looks good.  Maybe I'll just have to watch the movie for the cute dogs!

    We saw the preview when we went to see Four Christmases on Saturday night and it looks soooo good!  Even DH said he wants to see it.  I too would love to read the book first though.

    I've had the book on my shelf for over a year now and have a hard time getting to it beacuse I was told I will cry, but I will probably read it very soon. I want to read it before I see the movie. We will probably put it on our Netflix list.

    Abbie~  It is totally worth the cry though... such a good book!  I can't wait to see the movie... I told DH we will have to line up a sitter for it.

    The movies looks hilarious. I was watching CNN during the election and they had extended previews, I was dying with laughter. We grew up with Yellow Labs, so of course I thought about the dogs I grew up with. I purposely didn't read the book because my sister told me not to! (The tears....) I'll probably see the movie because I figure the tearjerking scenes will be over faster than if I were to actually read it! Hope I can handle it!
