Need a fun restaurant for 30th Birthday
We are taking my friend out for her 30th on a Sunday in September. We were going to do a winery but no one wants to drive, then we thought Tria but they are closed on Sundays. This day was supposed to be the bridal shower for her now called off wedding, hence the Sunday outing, so given the circumstances I want the night to be extra special and fun for her with lots of alcohol since I am sure it will be needed. Any ideas?

Are your sure? I just looked at their website and Sunday School appears to be alive and well. I love Sunday School!

The Rittenhouse and Washington West locations are both open on Sundays and offer their full menu. The Sunday School is an addition to the regular menu and includes 1 wine, 1 beer, and 1 cheese at a discounted price. It's a fun way to try something new and learn more about the product. You don't have to buy all three, it's not like it's a package deal or anything.
This reminds me that there is a new Sweat Gym (Sweat Fitness and Frames) in East Falls. There is the gym side and then they also have bowling lanes. The best part about that one is that it is BYOB.

I went to dinner with some friends at the Melting Pot and I thought that was a great girls night out. I am lame, I know, picking a chain lol.
If wine, melted cheese, bread dipped in melted cheese, melted chocolate, fruit dipped in melted chocolate and meat on sticks is lame, I don't want to be cool. I have a soft spot in my heart for the Melting Pot.
