A couple that we're really close friends with (DH's best friend from college and his wife) are going down to South Carolina for a wedding in September. They both have what I'll call "complicated" relationships with their parents, so they weren't sure what they were going to do with their 8 month old son, who is not invited to the wedding. So...I offered to take him for the weekend. I didn't really think they'd take us up on it, but they did.
We'll have the baby from Friday evening to Sunday afternoon. An 8 month old and a 3 month old -- this should be interesting.

eeek! Good luck, Jess!
haha, this! Have fun.
You're a great friend!!! Maybe they'll return the favor when you and your DH need a night out!
I'm sure it'll go smoothly!
At least the 8mo sttn, right? Also, you want C too? A 14 mo old should round you out nicely. Good luck!

Not insane, you're a good friend! I'm taking my niece for a night in October so I'll have a one year old and a 7 month old.
Good luck!
And in case you need more motivation for birth control, you can take my 20 month old as well! You're a nice friend to do that. Nuts, but nice!
He is mostly SSTN from what I understand, but who knows when he's in a different environment. And he is crawling, so that will be interesting...
I greatly appreciate all of your offers to donate another child, but I think we'll be good with two
