H was late for work today...

The latest he's ever been.  I hope he doesn't get in trouble.  He's supposed to be in by 8 and it's a half hour away.  He usually wakes up around 6 or 6:30, sometimes even as late as 7 (depending on how much he snoozes the alarm clock, which drives me CRAZY).  Today he wakes up at .... 7:54!!!!  WHAAAATTTTT??!!

He just leaped out of bed, threw clothes on and left!  I've been on his case about hand delivering a thank you card to one of his coworkers for probably 2 weeks now, and just last night I found it buried under papers in the office.  I tried to hand it to him on his way out the door and he was like "Oh, you're funny, are you serious?? I am way too stressed right now to take that!"  I was like, What? How is that relevant? But he didn't take it!! Damn it!

Re: H was late for work today...

  • Sucks he was late. But I do love their excuses for things. Like him being late/stressed really has something to do with taking that with him.

H does the same thing. The other day I handed him mail that needed to be put in the mailbox.. He was already going outside and going towards the mailbox anyway. His response I'm too busy right now to do it. You're going right to it what is the extra 2 steps compared to my 30+?

  • H was like that this morning too--I walked out with him and was like "make sure to drop the rent off" and he just stared at me. He had forgotten it inside...pretty sure he would die without me (even though he was independent just 3 months ago--hahaha)
  • IDK if it's me or not, but it seems a wedding band on the left hand has made H incapable of finding any household related stuff since the wedding.

He can't find the new tube of toothpaste, his socks, etc.  (and we lived together before the wedding and have moved nothing)

Men.  sheesh.  He's lucky he's so dang handsome.

  • I drove DH's car with him in the car the other day and pulled down the sunvisor and out popped the TY he wrote to his co-workers... um yea I gave that to him 2 months ago to give to them!

Also I gave him the car insurance and our electricity bill, one had a stamp and one didn't. All he had to do was mail the one with the stamp and buy a book of stamps and put one on the other... guess what? he just mailed both together and didn't buy stamps. Luckily NSTAR cashed our check without a stamp....
