No honeymoon. Back to work almost a full week now. The madness continues....
Details on your weddings please!
We took a "mini-moon" (3 days in Gatlinburg). I think I slept for like 47 hours. (When I get stressed, I don't sleep very well, so I think I might have slept 10 hours the week of the wedding.) I got an email (HERE) from our photographer with some sneak peaks!!! We're getting a DVD with all the pictures from the wedding and Benjamin, the photographer, is hopeful to have it to us next week!!
I don't like how TN shows how many times each post has been viewed. Too much lurking!
Things are good. I'm sooooooooo glad to be done with wedding planning. I'm really obsessed with the pictures that keep popping up of the wedding, and really happy with how it all played out.
It's so funny because my HUSBAND asked me "Are you going to stop going to theKnot now that you're married?" LOL I said "ummm yea but they have a sister site called theNest for after LOL" oh well....
Anyway - I ditto Jen - soooo happy wedding planning is OVER! But now my bff (she was my MOH) got engaged 2 weeks ago - so the madness begins again soon - but atleast I'm on the other side now lol.
And libby - I'm in Punta Cana now - till tomorrow - you'll LOVE it! We're staying at the Majestic Elegance. What about you?
I'm excited to be keeping in touch with you ladies as well! we had a great group of girls over on TK!
Honeymoon was great, a lot of relaxing. The first Monday back was definietely hard, I had a little bit of 'wedding withdrawal' I think, but I am getting back into the real world now & into the swing of things!
I hope you all enjoyed your weddings & honeymoon as much as I did!

My Planning Bio - Update 8/5/12
I had the Monday off after and am working this week and am traveling next week but we leave on Saturday the 1st for 2 weeks in Thailand! I am beyond excited and can not wait to have just the 2 of us for 2 whole weeks.
I haven't seen any professional pictures yet but am so antsy to see them. I am guessing it will be a few weeks though.
We got married on 8/18...so a little under a week so far!
in the last month or so of wedding planning, we bought a house, gutted the kitchen, and are redoing all the carpets and paint throughout....Wedding planning was actually fun for me, and i'm a bit sad that everything is over (our wedding day was perfect!) So, now i've officially moved into our new house (though none of my clothes or anything are there yet!), and now have to tackle name changes, HR paperwork, address changes, finishing renovations, and packing and moving 25+ years of stuff out of my parents house!
needless to say, we're holding off on the honeymoon til Vegas in September
