Housewarming/Moving Day Survival Kit Gift Basket Ideas
Hey all,
My BIL/SIL are moving into their new house this Saturday, and I want to put together a cute "Moving Day Survival Kit" gift basket for them. I have a few ideas already (champagne, flashlight, extension cord, Advil, gummy bears (her favorite), etc.), but was wondering if anyone had any good ideas. Also, any suggestions as to what I should put these items in? I've seen cleaning buckets, toolbags, regular old baskets, etc. but maybe someone has a cute idea?
Thanks in advance!

Granola bars or trail mix would be good too for food items they can grab and go. Maybe a gc for a local restaurant that delivers? If you have access to the area takeout menus from a few places would be good too.
We just moved and the things I needed often- a box cutter, screwdriver, trash bags, lightbulbs, windex, cleaning rags, beer. Lots of beer.
Oh, and something they won't use that weekend but will need eventually are picture hangers.
How about putting together a binder or folder with load take-out or delivery restaurants. Maybe making silly labels for the cleaners. I agree with the suggestion of toilet paper!
Hi,
My names is Brenda, owner of http://giftbasketvillas.com/. I'm sure you can find something you like since we have a huge variety of gifts. Let me know if you have any questions.
Great ideas everyone!
Something for breakfast comes to my mind, as they most likely won't have their kitchen unpacked right away. I might include homemade banana walnut muffins or an orange cranberry bread along with napkins, and recyclable plates and flatware.
