Highs? Visiting the 2 week old colt, getting the family room painted and having a nice dinner out with my mom.
Lows? Had a headache both days.
Eat/make anything good? Fried pickles and banana cake.
Read anything good? Still reading Peony in Love. I've been slacking.
Watch anything good? The Dictator was pretty good. Also caught up on Boss.

Highs? I got to spend Friday night all by myself and it was great! I came home from work, made Mexican Chicken Lasagna and sent it with DH to the fantasy football draft. I just wasn't up to going after the week that I had at work so DH drafted for this particular league

Lows? being stressed about money

Eat/make anything good? I made the Mex Chic Lasagna that apparently all got eaten in about 10 minutes, I made Chicken Penna Al Fresco Saturday, and I made Choco Chip Banana Bread last night

Watch anything good? Breaking Bad was awesome last night

Highs? Corks and Kegs with DH yesterday. If I hadn't bought the Living Social deal, we wouldn't have gone. The weather was beyond miserable but we still had a lot of fun!
Lows? I have so much to do today because I didn't do anything over the weekend! It's a bit overwhelming.
Eat/make anything good? DH made awesome spaghetti Saturday night. I had an amazing cheese and tomato quesadilla at the festival yesterday.
Read anything good? No
Watch anything good? No
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? DH and I are in such a better place financially than we were this time last year. Money is stil tight but we are caught up on all of our bills and have a little leftover to do occasional fun things. We are getting closer and closer to being out of debt and it's a good feeling.
What are you looking forward to this week? I'm going to visit a friend next week and meet her baby girl!
Are you going out of town for labor day weekend? No, it's just a regular weekend for us.

Highs? Baby shower on Saturday and got to see some friends I haven't seen in awhile! DS was good at dinner last night. DS finally called me "mama".
Lows? DS fell off the couch and hit his eye on something, but it doesn't look as bad today as I thought it would.
Eat/make anything good? I made a cake for the baby shower.
Read anything good? No.
Watch anything good? Not really.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? I finally got my emissions test for my car this morning. It was way overdue and I feel embarrassed/guilty about that. Also, I have a headlight out on my car and I got pulled over for it on Saturday so now I'm paranoid that I'm going to get pulled over again before I can get it fixed.
What are you looking forward to this week? DS is staying with ILs Saturday night and DH and I are going out!!! Also, 3 day weekend and DS will be 15 months old

Highs? National Zoo on Friday w/Friends.
Lows? a certain 2 year old threw tons of fits this weekend.
Eat/make anything good? Picked up some steaks from Wegman's on Saturday and had that and corn on the cob on grill. I made mango salsa yesterday. YUM!
Read anything good? Just started Where we belong by Emily Giffin.
Watch anything good? We watched a lot of tv this weekend because of the weather. DH and I started watching the Hatfield's & McCoy's again.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? We cleaned out this weekend and got some home improvement projects done, but not as much work as I had liked.
What are you looking forward to this week? Dutch Wonderland on Saturday and Cookout w/friends on Sunday.

Highs? I attended a coworker's wedding on Saturday, and had a nice time. It was weird going without my husband (he was at a family birthday party), but I made some new friends!
Lows? I tried to go out to dinner with friends on Friday night but had a splitting headache. DH and I had to get the check as soon as our food arrived, I got home at 9 and was asleep within 20 minutes. Then I woke up at 4:30 both Saturday AND Sunday, which was miserable.
Eat/make anything good? I ate out a lot this weekend -- Mexican Cafe in Annapolis on Friday, Miss Shirley's in Annapolis Saturday morning, and Coal Fire in Crofton on Sunday. They were all good!
Read anything good? Nope, I didn't read much this weekend.
Watch anything good? I caught up on Pretty Little Liars. I'm excited for this week's season finale!
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? I have one coworker in the office who monitors people's lives on Facebook and then acts like she was intimately involved in the situation. She did it with a coworker's new baby a couple weeks ago, and then in this morning's staff meeting, she was talking like she knew all the details of the wedding I attended on Saturday. Only two of us from the office were invited, and were asked to not talk about it so the feelings of others wouldn't be hurt, and it was REALLY annoying to hear her talk about the wedding like she attended when she wasn't there and only saw facebook pictures.
What are you looking forward to this week? Long weekend coming up!
Are you going out of town for labor day weekend? Nope, we have no plans and nothing to do, and I'm thrilled!

You and I just did everything we could to bump into each other this weekend. Too bad it never happened! I was actually there for lunch. Did you enjoy it? My friend and I split a margherita pizza and the crabby mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was RICH, but I thought the pizza was good.

Highs? - So many to choose from! Went out with friends on Friday night to Southern Hospitality in Adams Morgan for a friend's birthday party. Had a low-key girls night with Friends on Saturday night. Ran the A10 on Sunday morning.
Lows? Lack of sleep. I think I slept a combined 11 hours over the weekend and that was rough. Also, getting pelted in the face with pouring rain and hail during the A10 wasn't exactly awesome.
Eat/make anything good? Had lunch at Galway Pub in Annapolis on Saturday and the fish and chips were yummy.
Read anything good? Nope.
Watch anything good? Watched the Hunger Games on Saturday night with friends. Even better the second time around.
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? DH held a baby! He's never been one to pick up kids and he babysat a friend's 10 month old so his friend could run the A10. It was so muddy and rainy out that he didn't use a stroller so he just carried around this kid for over two hours. My arms would have fallen off after 20 minutes, but DH just went with it. Seriously, watching the hubs dote over a friend's baby was amazing. Certainly didn't hurt that the little girl is a ginger baby
What are you looking forward to this week? A day off! I think I'm taking Thursday off and it'll be so nice to sleep in later than 5am to go running.
Are you going out of town for labor day weekend? Staying in town. Have my first 20 miler to run on Saturday morning.

We went around 4 for an early dinner. The French fries (that I didn't need) were yummy. We've been there twice and gotten the signature sauce (sweet and spicy) with mushrooms/onions and beef on half. It's really good!

Highs? - I had a great weekend!! It was great to see friends I hadn't seen in awhile on Sat and Sun!
Lows? the only downer was that the O's game didn't get played. We got wet,but had a good time hanging out at the bar waiting for the rain to pass.
Eat/make anything good? Great food at the baby shower on Sat and a Crab/Mac and Cheese hotdog on Sunday!
Read anything good? Nope.
Watch anything good? The Wedding Date was on last night!
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? This was the first time in a long time, I had fun all weekend! No drama, nothing happened and it was so nice!
What are you looking forward to this week? Since the game got rained out on Sunday, we got tickets for Wednesday night!
Are you going out of town for labor day weekend? Nope, staying in town. Maryland's first fb game is Sat!! I'm super excited!

Highs? I'm having weird insomnia problems compounded by the bed not being comfortable.
Lows? DD was had multiple meltdowns at a birthday party on Saturday - it was PITA and I kept having to intervene

Read anything good? no - I left my Kindle at work
Watch anything good? I watched a ton on Netflix streaming - Waiting for Superman, Joan Rivers Piece of Work, Breaking Bad and Mad Men
FFCs, vents, AWs, comments? I have 2 kid related AWs - DD refered to her best friend as her best friend this weekend, w/ no prompting or suggestions from me - soo cute!; Friends husband hung w/ DD briefly and commented to me afterward that DD was really going places and had leadership skills. I was so proud!!
What are you looking forward to this week? Florida for a week starting Friday! I really just hope we dodge the weather!
Are you going out of town for labor day weekend? Yes - for the whole week - I'm pshyched!
