Trash the Dress gone horribly wrong...

Check out this story: for those of you who don't want to read it... she was in a body of water with her dress on, moved out farther to get a picture of her "floating". The weight of the wet dress was too much and she couldn't get out...and she got swept downstream and drowned.. she got married June 9...

Wow, totally not what I was expecting. Definitely did not make my afternoon blah mood any better. It just seems like such a stupid thing to die over, when you really think about it. Obviously she had no way of knowing, but if I was her husband/mother/friend I would have a really, really hard time reconciling the fact that she ended up dying essentially because she wanted more photos of herself in her wedding dress. I'm not saying I have a problem with TTD shoots, but the thought "she would still be here if she didn't do the TTD shoot" would haunt me for a very long time. Just terribly sad all around. Since our BIL's passing rigtt before the wedding I think I've been having a harder time accepting these things...

I read this last week and was horrified. I cannot believe this would happen - but after reading, it made perfect sense. Puts me putting on my dress again this weekend for our reception here in my hometown, a whole lot more interesting! No water for me....
