Anyone hear about this? Canadian bride drowns during a trash the dress shoot.

This is one of those things I always thought about doing, but never got around to. However, doing shots on rocks in what sounds like body of water with a swift current near a water fall would not have been part of my photo shoot agenda.
Re: Trash the dress death
That is very tragic.
If I was going to trash the dress, Id do it either on a beach ala Mae. Or, I would do something in lots of fall leaves since I got married in Nov.
It is tragic.
But really, who says "lets go for a swim" in a dress that is at least 10 pounds dry. I saw pictures of her wedding on the Today show this morning. It was a big poofy ball gown with beading....it could have easily been more then 10 pounds dry. She obviously never saw the first Pirates of the Carribbean movie...when Elizabeth almost drowned because her dress was too heavy....she had to be cut out of it. Just saying.
