The westbound span of the Bay Bridge has been closed due to "unusual and slight vertical motions." Apparently westbound traffic is currently backed up to the 50/301 split. Ugh!

We have a good four to five people who commute from the ES every day to Annapolis from as far away as Chestertown and Easton. It's crazy! Luckily, our office closes at 3 on Fridays specifically for this reason (so those going to the Shore aren't as stuck in traffic).

My coworker commutes from Annapolis to Denton everyday and I hear her horror stories. She was actually off today but just had surgery and has to go back to Towson today for her checkup. I feel really bad for her.
Its not looking good. I'm hearing reports that the bridge dropped 12-18 inches to 10 feet. I'm REALLY hoping its all rumor. I live on Kent island and commute to college park every day.
That's a big range!! I hope it's not true!!
