question about undies ..not really TMI

Most of my undies and bras are from Victoria's Secret but I've noticed that their quality is getting worse and worse. I have some undies that are already falling apart after only a few washes and I even wash on the gentle cycle and hang them to dry. I like Target bras and panties but wanted to see if anyone had any other recommendations?

  • I like good old fashioned Hanes. They fit me well, the price is great and they hold up well in the regular wash.

Same here! I thought it was just me. It seems as though a lot of them have the lace band at the top and the lace is so fragile that even just putting them on/off can tear it, and it drives me insane! I had a pair on yesterday that I've worn maybe three times before and the whole lace band is destroyed.

I'll be watching this post for some new undie recs too!

  • I like jockey for her for underwear.  they are soft, wash and wear well and don't crawl up your butt.

For bras I usually buy playtex or cross your heart.  I have an oddball size so it's kind of slim pickings.  Oh and fwiw I hate underwires.

I have a couple VS pairs and I'm glad I'm not the only one this has happened to!

This!!  I like the bikini cut and last time I bought some they had a "boyfriend cotton" kind that are also very comfortable :)

  • I have had the same problem with VS undies EXCEPT for this style: http://www.victoriassecret.com/panties/5-for-26-styles/ruched-back-hiphugger-panty-cotton-lingerie?ProductID=72672&CatalogueType=OLS which I find very comfy!  They have lasted much longer (months!) than other VS panties I have purchased.  I'm also somewhat oddly shaped; I have larger hips and not much of a booty, so I have problems finding undies that actually stay up,don't get pulled down by my pants, and aren't "saggy" on my butt!  These were a great find!

I agree with this. I love those undies and they are the ones I buy the most. All the lace undies fall apart in no time. It is terrible. My issue is that I have a tiny torso so I need little bitty undies... or they pop out of my pants.

  • I pretty much only get stuff from Target from the Gilligan & O'Malley line... Some of their more scanty/ obviously delicate looking things haven't held up that well, but for the most part they're great :)

  • Hanes bikini are my faves and they have cute prints on them too. For bras I have no idea I buy a different brand everytime because I can't find any that fit good. I have such an odd size and I feel like most bras cut into me on the sides so it's hard to find a cute/comfy bra.
  • I wear Hanes, and have since I switched a few years ago from VS. They are cheap, super comfortable and hold up great in the wash.

  • After all of this underwear talk, I actually went to Target and bought some new ones!

I got a 4 pack of Hanes undies. Bikini style, and they are super silky and soft.

I also bought the 5/$20 ones they have that are more fun colors/styles. Some of them are stretchy material and some are just cotton.

I've got them lined up for the laundry tonight and I can wait to wear them tomorrow! :)

    Next task....new bras...ugh!
