I don't drink wine, but I'd love a fruity rum drink in my hand right about now....
I had to come into work at 6:30AM (usually in at 8) to interview a woman for a position. I thought I'd be able to leave work after my 8 hours were over, but it turns out I have to stay until my usual time (4:30) because of a stupid weekly office meeting....blah!

I could use a drink/shot of something today. I hate the DMV and then to top it off I am having to re go through all MIL's stuff we have at our house and find a place or better yet organize better. My head feels like it will explode!
TRUTH.
We got home from my BIL's wedding last night, & thought I was just going to pick my dog up from boarding this AM. Turns out the vet wanted to meet with us about some MORE problems they observed while he was there.
I still haven't ruled out a vodka lunch yet.
Cheers! In fact my DH sent me a message earlier today, saying Don Julio would be waiting for me. Yep...it's been one of those days.....
I have many days I'd like to partake during lunch. Not that I ever have, of course, working on people and all...
Some of my best memories during school were of boozy lunches - we had an all day lab course on Tuesdays (not working on patients, BTW!). One day a friend and I went out to lunch. The next week we went out to lunch, and had one drink (gasp!). This snowballed into a group of 10 of us going to lunch every Tuesday and having enough drinks to come back a little buzzed/tipsy. I did some of my best lab work a couple of drinks in =] Good memories, this is the part of college/no responsibility that I miss!
whelp, started my day with two living and breathing patients. ended my day with two living and not breathing patients.
thank god for sauvignon blanc.
