Filming a movie nearby
They are using a parking lot near my work as the "base camp" for the movie Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are currently filming. One of my coworkers walked over to find out what was going on and Vince Vaughn walked right by her.
I am not really one to get all starstruck, but it is pretty neat to have that going on so close by! (I say that, until I try to go out for lunch, and get caught in all the mess of traffic...)

And since this seems like a lovely space to just talk to myself, boy this rain is making me sleepy! I wish I could curl up with a book and read the back of my eyelids.
i HATE how humid it is!! that's the part of summer i will NOT miss.
My Shopping Blog
Do you work near Peachtree and Roxboro? All the film stuff was messing up my driving short cuts! I wouldn't mind running into Vince Vaughn! And actually, that is quite literally possible because my belly is so darn big these days... I actually keep hitting things with it because I keep misjudging how massive it is.
I am actually in the vicinity of KSU. The security guard told us Will Ferrell is here also. I think I will take staying dry over standing around in the rain to maybe see someone.
This! DH and I were out one day and walked by Alton Brown. DH's face was stuffed in his phone so he didn't even notice. I was so caught up in the fact that we just passed someone famous and I actually recognized, I couldn't even react to the fact that I just made eye contact with Alton Brown, let alone tell DH why I was barely able to form a sentence. (So maybe I do get a little starstruck..)
Oh... Hmmmm. I wonder what they are filming over here. They are going to been filming until mid-September according to the signs. *shurg* Oh well, I guess I won't be running into Vince Vaughn.Could be the same thing, they are only supposed to be here for a few days. I hope it works out for you
