Anyone around? We just had a little luncheon at work which got me out of the office, but now I have no motivation to get back into what I was working on before lunch!
Re: Tuesday Chit Chat
I'm around! I have no motivation today either - did a few things this weekend but I'm not really feeling work now. Have any plans tonight?
I actually had a very productive morning before I got into work this afternoon. Made a new recipe "Emily Bites taco bake casserole", mowed the grass, cleaned/straightened up the house, did a load of laundry and folded laundry. Nothing fun going on at work.
We have a session of puppy training tonight with the trainer SIL uses. SIL's dog ignores Beaux whenever they are together and isn't a very social dog so I am curious as to how the training is going to go.
I love dateaversaries! haha Ours is this Saturday but we have a wedding so we might have a date night on Friday to celebrate our 4 years.
We're going to look at another house tonight - I'm excited! I have a good feeling about this one. It has everything we want on paper so hopefully it's everything we want when we see it. I'm sure we'll have tons of house projects likes urs after we buy. I'm sure that gets old.
I'm jealous of your productive morning! I have so much at home that I could be doing but I'm sitting at work instead. booo
good luck, hope things work out with this one!
Thanks, I hope so, too! How did your taco bites casserole turn out? It sounds yummy!
The list of projects seems to be never ending, but right now I don't mind because it is part of turning the house into "ours." I think every time my parents come visit they notice something new we could do (paint the trim around our windows, pull more weeds, edging, etc).
I think the worst part was finding out we should replace 5 windows as the brick molding is starting to rot so we are better off replacing the windows. Then a week later our garage door spring broke so we had to replace that...my parents just say that is part of being a homeowner. We have been good for a few weeks now so hopefully that was all our major repairs for a while!
All in all I can't really complain though as seeing the house transform in just the few months we've owned it has been amazing!!
Hope the house you are looking at is amazing and just as awesome in person as on paper! You'll have to let us know how it is after you see it!
That has to be frustrating to have to fix and replace things right after another. It def is part of being a homeowner. I'll miss that about renting. I am very excited to do things that make the house our own. I've been trying to look for inspiration pictures online and on pinterest. You'll have to share how everything turned out when your done. :-)
Thanks! I will let everyone know how everything went tomorrow after seeing the house!
really good! i served it over lettuce to help cut some calories and it was good. all her recipes are healthy and really good!
Yum! I've never heard of her - does she have a website?
