I hate the phrase Mommy Martyr.
I am really frustrated by the state of the US news currently, and am on a news strike.
I'm jealous that DH is going to be the one taking and picking DD up from pre-school.
I am ready to retire.
I wish this board was more active.
Ditto. I kept trying to find coverage of the hurricane this morning and all I could find was coverage of the convention.
I lost 2 pounds this week! I have a long way to go but at least I'm starting to see progress.
I'm praying my IL's don't want to have a cookout for labor day. Need to find excuse not to go now.
I started my new budget this week and so far it's going good. Hoping I can keep it up!
Seriously. I would've thought people would've come back by now. How do you go from posting on a board everyday to never? I still don't like proboards.
I'm excited about our upcoming vacation. Only 6 more days of work.
I'm also looking forward to the weekend.

We are visiting DH's family (grandparents, etc.).

I feel like I have a case of senioritis. I've totally checked out of work in anticipation of next Wednesday being my last day before having the baby, and I wish I could just stop working now. I only have four working days (today, tomorrow, next Tuesday and Wednesday) before delivery, and they're half days, so it's ridiculous that I'm whiny about it. I just want to be at home in my PJs.
I'm being nosy here, and you can tell me back the F up! LOL, do you have a scheduled induction or c-section? I'm so excited for you and megcheer and cooper.
I have one more to add!
I hate SPIDERS!!!!!!!!! This summer it's seems they are EVERYWHERE! I'm the first person to drop off at daycare and I'm always the person who runs through those damn webs. I have asked on several occasions that DCP clean up the spider webs, and then this morning as I walked down the path, I hit another spider web. DCP insisted that they didn't see anything in the trees. WTF, it's right there in the tree! I sit at my desk all day, thinking I feel them crawling on me.
Okay my vent is over!
I'm excited to go to the beach with my parents, my SIL and my nephew in 2 weeks. It's a welcomed distraction and it'll be so quiet/desolate at the beach.
I'm taking a random day off from work tomorrow and I can't wait. The crazy part is I'm coming back to work on Friday. I just need a day to sleep in, then go running, and do errands.
I could have taken off from work on Friday, but DH has off on Friday and he's playing Madden ALL DAY and watching that would have ticked me off so it's better for me to go to work on Friday.
Scheduled c-section, next Thursday morning!
I'm annoyed w/ the political conventions - I cant' believe they are partially taxpayer financed for the parties to have their own pep rally/circle jerk w/ each other, lobbyists and the media. Nothing is decided and nothing that happens there is material to the overall election. And, if we took the money we were paying for them, we could do a lot more good.
Kathryn- i love that you just used the word circle jerk.
This brings up a story. Yesterday at work there was a meth/heroin addict who decided to take care of himself in front of my office window. the security guards got to him before he was done. i'm still scarred from this incident.

Boo! I'm glad you were able to get back home for K's first day of school, but all the drama you guys went through was crazy.
