What are some of your favorite date activities (day or night)?
Re: QOTD - Date activities
I can completely agree with that statement! Since we got back from the HM H has started his masters, started coaching football, and assisting with the marching band! I also hardly think you are boring....in fact several of those things are date activities we enjoy doing together too! We recently found a nice path in a wooded in area that we live that we are hoping to explore a little bit more...we just have to find time! We have also recently gotten into geocaching. It's something neither of us had done before but enjoy doing together and lets us spend time outside!
We have date nights every Wednesday. It's always just dinner, either we go out or we get something to go from a place we can walk to and eat at our apartment. It's nice because it breaks up the week.
My favorite types, though, are surprise dates. But, we're penny-pinching now to pay off my student loans and save up for a house, so unfortunately there have been no surprise dates lately
we went on our first date since the wedding a couple weeks ago. We are both just so busy. We are hoping to do something this weekend, go to a beer and wing festival so that is something we are looking forward to doing.
I love this! I might have to steal it - I like having something to look forward to on a day that's usually boring. What are your plans for tonight?
We try to have date nights as much as possible but we have been super busy all summer since the wedding. We usually don't do anything crazy - go to get a drink together, go to dinner, play mini golf, etc.
We always pick one night of the week to go out for dinner. It's like our date/cheat meal night. We are trying to do other things. We went hiking last weekend.

Tonight we just went downtown to try out a pizza place that H has heard good things about. It was yummy! But very unhealthy
usually we'll find a place we haven't been to and try it out (though we do have our favorites that we go back to every now and then). It's a really great way to break up the week and you can have fun with it and dress up! It definitely keeps things from getting too stagnant (especially for us; we live in an apartment and usually sit around watching tv when we're home haha.
We usually just go for the dinner dates....we both love eating out and trying new restaurants, and since the food truck craze has taken off in Vancouver, we love going to food truck festivals and farmers markets where we can try all the new food trucks! We have also taken to going on picnics when the weather is good.
Other than that, we mostly just like to hang out at home and cook dinner & watch our favourite TV shows or new movies. Or we will read a book together....it started a few years ago (we have the same taste in books) and we've both grown to enjoy reading books together. We are reading the whole HP series at the moment cause H has never read them and I am a HP freak!
