Weekly book post

I finished These Girls which was really good. I have read a few pages of Where We Belong. I had been on the wait list at the library for it. I try not to buy hardcover books although I did buy one earlier this year. I used to wait for them to come out in paperback but now can save money and read them sooner by requesting them at the library!!!

Re: Weekly book post

  • I am at the very end of Ape House by Sara Gruen (she wrote Water for Elephants) and it has been pretty good. I am curious about how some of the relationships turn out at the very end.

  • I'm halfway in 13 Little Blue Envelopes.

  • I just started "Fifty Shades Darker".  Yup I caved and decided to read the entire trashy trilogy LOL.

The Sara Gruen book sounds interesting I loved Water For Elephants!

  • I recently finished The Book of Lost Things, which was more disturbing than I thought it would be.  It was about a boy who got lost in a world of books after his mother died (like actually went to a fairy tale world) and was being chased after by "the crooked man" (Rumplestiltskin).  The crooked man is super creepy and evil and the book is surprisingly graphic. It was interesting, though.

Now I'm starting The Memory Keeper's Daughter.  I'm only a few pages in, though.

  • I am reading The Fallen Angel by Daniel Silva.  It is the 12th (I think) book in a series about an Israeli spy.  The books are set all over the world.  This was is really good.  Much better than the last one.
