Glad the week is halfway over. And that it's a 3 day weekend!
For some reason I'm in a crappy mood today, can't pinpoint why. (everyone's entitled to those though, right?)
But another positive, I'm meeting with a girl that I used to work with tonight to go shopping. So I'm excited to catch up with her! And shop!

Today is my first day at my internship! I have the morning off and then head in for the afternoon. Today will probably not be that exciting since I am just going to be doing some training and discussing scheduling and what not. I am a social work student, and this is the first time I have really been able to do anything "social workish". I am super nervous about the whole thing, but amazingly excited at the same time. Then tonight I have an orientation at school for the field (or internship) program. On Tuesday school officially starts for me. I will also be working half time. I am overwhelmed by what life will be like a week from today. This is, hopefully, my last year of undergrad. So, I just need to suck it up for one more year and then I can have a break from school for awhile, and work.
So, I have mixed feelings today. Happy, nervous, curious, overwhelmed, excited.... the list just goes on.
Hmmm... I think I really needed to get that off my chest this morning. Thanks for asking.
Ky, we are all entitled to have days where your just grumpy for no reason. Hope the grump fades as the day goes on.
Hattie, I am glad this post came at the right time.
Nothing at all going on with me. I'm feeling ok today so just going to do some laundry before my bestie comes and visits this weekend. Got to have clean towels and sheets. I woke up after H had left for work. He knew I had a couple of rough days, Monday & Tuesday, and ended up writing cute notes on sticky notes. He left them all around the house. My goodness I love my man.
erollis, it's awesome that your H is so supportive. He sounds like a great guy.
We finally had a date night on Monday and went to Brennan's for dinner. It was amazeballs. They gave us extra desserts and a tour at the end of the night. Impeccable service.
I started working on the paintings again last night so when I get the kiddo down for a nap I might run out for more supplies before H has to leave for work.
Jenn, that's great everyone is ok. That's horrible about losing their home twice. So sad and I hope they can rebuild again.
QJ, I have all these art supplies that I haven't touched in ages. I should probably start up again. You should post a pic when your done with your painting. And yes I am such a lucky lady to have such a wonderful H. I thank my lucky stars every day I have someone so wonderful to love and loves me back.
Jennifer - I'm glad you all are doing okay down there! That is extremely sad about your DH's cousin's home.
No really gripes or complaints. I'm super busy at work. I'm going non-stop from about 7:15am-3:30pm. My family went boating yesterday evening, which was fun! This weekend DH and I are going down to the river. I'm hoping the rain from Issac lets us go boating on Saturday. Then after that, bring all the rain (within reason!)
