Vacation over, back to reality
We arrived home last night. We were away for 5 days. It was so nice to get away. We had a great time, even though it rained the last two days. Our hotel was a street away from the beach but we had a great ocean view. It was wonderful waking up each morning and checking out the waves. DH is a body boarder and I used to be a surfer. (I'll get back into it one day, if I can loose some of this weight.) DH was able to ride some great waves this trip. I love it down there. If you've never been to Wilmington, North Carolina, I highly recommend it. There is so much to do. It's such a great city.
Now, I'm back home and back to reality. I have to work at the hotel gift shop tonight, tomorrow, and all weekend. I also have to go to the school I was hired at to have a substitute orientation (I have taught for 4 years, this is going to be a waste of time!) Then tomorrow I have to fill out paperwork at the community college I'll be working at. I'm a little scared for these new adventures in my life. The college professor gig is really making me nervous.
