Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.

Thank you.

Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.

2 weeks notice

I have off today and tomorrow and Monday is a holiday. If I wanted to submit my 2 weeks notice, do I really have to wait until Tuesday so I can do it in person?  Is email not appropriate?

Thanks!

Re: 2 weeks notice

  • Emailing a 2 week notice is extremely unprofessional.  If you truly can't wait until Tuesday, arrange to come in on Friday long enough to hand deliver your notice to your boss.

     OK, thanks.
  • An email sounds rude. I would write a formal letter to supervisor, give in person and thank him/her for giving you opportunity, I would do this on Tues.

    Good luck
