I miss everyone...Where are you? Do you think everyone would come back if we made our own proboard, or moved to some other forum? Or is this the product of trying to enjoy the last of summer?
I got B to agree to taking salsa lessons. I hope we can find some inexpensive ones. I love the movements and music, and I hope it's something we can enjoy for years. I think it will be good for date nights too
We were startled awake at 3 by a very loud domestic dispute outside (our apt faces the parking lot). Then there were police sirens. They must have been going somewhere else though. B thought the zombies were coming. He needs to lay off the video games...

I know what you mean BnG. I think part of it is the last days of summer. Hopefully once the weather cools off a bit it will get active in here again.
GL find a place for Salsa dancing. I wish I could get DH to do something like that but no luck after 14 years.
I was awakened last night by my own brain. It decided at 4AM would be a good time to remind me that I haven't even started packing the bathroom. So guess what I'm doing this morning. Washing towels and sheets and then packing the majority of the bathroom.

I hope you can get packed up and relax a little bit soon. I know it's stressful.
I'm basically in another "world" right now via head, etc. I called the doctors and they are having me double up on one medication until I get in there on Tuesday morning. Thank god they were able to switch me from the 10th to the 4th. I need it, trust me.
Good news is that instead of going to see bff and family next weekend I get to go this holiday weekend because I don't have to babysit this weekend now. Wohoo.
For the first part, I agree, it's probably people being busy enjoying the end of the summer. For me, I haven't been posting much because my life is super boring right now! I check posts a few times a week, but really don't have much to add.
That being said, I'm going to be super lazy this weekend, no solid plans, but I really want to do some shopping for the nursery!

I took Allison out for some special one-on-one time before she starts school next week. We went to the mall and picked up a few more items like shoes and socks. I think she had a good time because she didn't want to leave. She kept saying...I just want to stay here for a little longer.
BNG - check out the Parks and Recs departments for Kentwood, Wyoming, and GR to see if they have Salsa dancing lessons.
We took our lessons through the Arts Council here. GR Social Dance club is good. Barb at https://www.facebook.com/DANCEgr knows just about every dancer & teacher in the area. She'll give you good advice if you contact her.
That was sweet GVSU. Is she excited for school?

She seems excited. She did good at the orientation; walked right in and sat down. Every once in a while she says something about being nervous. I think it will kick in on Tuesday morning. Needless to say I will be wearing my sunglasses so if I start to tear up, she and other people can't see me. I think it will be a quiet car ride home with my husband and I.
I think once she realizes that Amelia and I are going things during the day without here there may be some jealousy.
Things are going well. I have settled into being a SAHM although all that changes next week. I will have to pick up Allison from school so I will need to adjust my schedule a bit.
I took SS to HS yesterday to pick up is computer and schedule. This year's school pics he looks like he is almost smiling.
I'm getting antsy for the weekend. I think I will feel so much better with the majority of the furniture moved out. Even though we have made 7 trips with boxes the house still feels full. I need to call Mel Trotter to plan a truck pickup of items that we are donating too.
