Re: (Untitled)
My c-section is scheduled for 9/24, and while I know logically I could certainly go into labor on my own before that, I am praying I don't go early- I just have too much to do, and planned my life around the date of 9/24. Yes, I know it's irrational. Also, if one more person says 'I bet you're ready to just get that baby out!' I'm going to scream.
Also, as we are trying desperately to rearrange and straighten out our house and clutter, I so badly want to mass email people and say PLEASE NO MORE STUFF!!! but of course it looks awful and ungrateful. I took out Aisling's old newborn clothing (we were "team green" with her too so it's all neutral) and there are seriously at least 50 onesies that she never even wore, plus the 50 more that she wore a couple of times, plus millions of other things that are in new or like-new condition...we don't need one single other thing. Yet, I know people will buy us a ton of things anyway for this baby. My one aunt is a shopaholic and keeps texting me pics of clothing she bought, and mentioned she has purchased a whole new boy and a whole new girl wardrobe for the baby. I know it's an awful thought but I just want to say 'can I have the money instead of the stuff you're getting that this kid will not need and will likely never get to wear all of since we already have a ton?' It just makes me insane.
