Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

So annoyed with neighbors!
Total rant here... but they think they own the road. Anytime anyone is parked in the street in front of their house, they hunt them down and ask them to move. I used to have a weekly bible study at my house and they would interrupt every.single.time and ask us to move. UGH!
I've just stayed out of their way lately. But today, some friends were picking up furniture from my house. So they bring a uhaul, park it in front of my house. Then they park their car in front of the neighbors... well that lasted less than 10 minutes before the neighbors were over complaining.
I'm SO annoyed. I know they like one car in their driveway and one in the street. But it's not like they can't park both in their driveway for a couple minutes. The weird thing is, other than that, they're pretty nice to me! The wife compliments my clothes, I've let them borrow a small patio table, I talk with their kids, etc. Ugh! Ok.. rant over. But seriously, anyone have an extra car they will come park in front of their house for a couple days?

I swear to God, you live in my old neighborhood. The people across the street from me constantly parked their cars in the street - which was directly in front of my drive way which made getting out of my driveway a nighmare. Anyhoo, whenever people came over and someone parked in front of our house (and thus, at the front of their driveway), they left nasty notes on my guest's cars. Um, hello?!? What is the difference?? AND this guy was a preacher!!! When the for sale sign went up in front of their house I actually jumped up and down and cheered.
Anyhoo, when they complain to you, what do you say? Do you have a neighborhood association that does not allow you to park in the street (usually these rules do not and cannot apply to parties and short visits)? Are these vehicles blocking their driveway? Would you feel comfortable telling them to stick it up their @ss?
I'd be pissy that they park their own car in the street on a regular basis. I find that far more obnoxious than anything else.
In response to their complaints I would answer "I'm sorry if this has inconvenienced you. My guest will be leaving around <whatever time even if it is the next day>"
The end. They don't have any more right to that street space than you do.
Exactly. Seriously, what do they plan to do if your guest doesn't move their car? blow it up?
