DH goes to southern Mozambique for work. He's been looking at going to the north end if the country to go diving, but hasn't gone up yet.
Main things he warns about, power outages (can be a concern if the ATM is out too)& making sure the roadblock cops are legitimate (he is normally with locals if they drive after dark). Getting the anti malarials that have the fewest side effects for you. He loves the people in the town he goes to. Never had problems with food, though they do seem to fry most things and put an egg on it. He does stick to bottled water if he isn't at his company's site. the airline is banned from the EU, but it was more politics with Portugal than a safety issue.
Cancer sucks.
Out of curiosity, what is his procedure when the roadblock cops are not legit?
